Tennis Touring Squad at
The Tennis Touring Squad is run by Otto Buchholdt, former coach to many world ranked, senior and junior players.
The aim of the squad is to create a realistic pathway into professional tennis, with the
emphasis on competing and training to maximise competitive potential.

Tournaments
The squad is based around the British Tour and Futures calendar.
Otto will work with the squad at 15 tournaments per year at no extra cost to the
players. This calendar is as follows,
September 10- Paddington British Tour
November 10- Welwyn British Tour
February 11 - Corby British Tour

New squad term starts 6th September 2010
Training
Training consists of 2 hour training sessions on individual development followed by practice set sessions each day, Monday-Friday.
To keep training specific squads will operate with 2-4 players only. Also coaching whilst at tournaments is an important part of the programme.
An additional individual or group fitness programme can be organised with the resident HPC fitness trainer at a reasonable cost.
To maintain high standards places are limited and new players must be a minimum of main draw British Tour level.
Education
It is unlikely that a full-time student would have the flexibility for a full-time squad, however, players do have individual educational programmes.
Squad cost
£100 per week (15 week term commitment)
£150 per week (1 month commitment)
£200 per week
There is a small Esporta membership fee of £18 per month for players ranked between 24-100 in their age group. This is free for players ranked top 24.
